Deep garnet in the glass. Mulberry and black plum on the nose. The sea air gives this Shiraz a softer first attack than its Barossa cousins — fruit is brighter, tannin rounder, finish carries pepper and damp earth without weight. A wine that argues with food rather than agrees with it.
